Lea Michele Breaks Silence and Gives Tribute to Cory Monteith

On Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, Glee actress Lea Michele gave a tearful acceptance speech for her “Choice TV Actress – Comedy” win. She dedicated the award to her costar and boyfriend, Cory Monteith—who passed away from a toxic combination of heroin and alcohol on July 13—during her first televised appearance since his death. “He was very special to me, and also to the world, and we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile, and his beautiful, beautiful heart,” she said. Oh dear. TMZ got ahold of some racy photos of the Biebs wearing his birthday suit with only his acoustic guitar covering his itty bitties standing in front of his granny. The photos were from his last Canadian Thanksgiving celebration in Toronto last October at his grandma’s house, when he thought of the idea to prank her with a naked serenade. Bieber ended the last of his U.S. tour on Saturday in Atlanta, GA, and will be taking a break until he heads over to Thailand to begin his Asian tour on Sept. 26. [TMZ, MTV]

Jay Leno’s ‘Tonight Show’ Gets Final Air Date

Host Jay Leno will be telling his final jokes on NBC’s Tonight Show on Feb. 6, just in time for the Winter Olympics, which commences the next day. However, the staff and crew will be paid until their contract ends in September, and NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt said they are in talks with Leno for “various ideas” on working with him in future endeavors. Jimmy Fallon will step in to replace Leno on Feb. 24, with Seth Meyers in tow debuting his talk show Late Night With Seth Meyers in the 12:30 a.m. slot. [Deadline, Vulture]
